An English Summer
ritain has just experienced its wettest summer since records began more than 240 years ago. This deluge has caused misery to thousands up and down the country. In an effort to put a positive spin on all this precipitation this project involved our visitors in a series of 'rain' portraits. Looking through a rain-splashed window seems to encourage contemplation. The drops and reflections soften tones and colours producing an almost painterly quality. Rain is not all bad then.
