Project Hug 2006

This project celebrated the human hug. Mounting a camera on the ceiling affords an aerial view, a simplified graphic representation of unity and intimacy. Each couple creates their own unique shape and form. These configurations seem to reveal much of the dynamics of the relationship itself; in some cases protective and dominant, in others tender and submissive.
